What is a calibratable wound-type current transformer (EWSK)?
The EWSK is the calibratable version of the wound-type current transformer for billing measurement, with fixed wired primary winding, designed for currents from 25 A to 150 A.
When an EWSK is the right choice
The EWSK is suitable for calibratable measurements at low to medium currents. Without calibration obligation, the standard wound-type current transformer (WSK) is the more economical choice.
Technical features
- primary current 25 A to 150 A
- secondary current 1 A or 5 A
- accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5 and 0.5s
Mounting and safety
The secondary circuit of a current transformer must never be operated open during operation – before disconnecting measuring devices in the secondary circuit, it must be short-circuited.
