What is a calibratable tube/rod-type current transformer (EASR)?
The EASR is the calibratable version of the tube/rod-type current transformer, designed for currents from 75 A to 600 A – intended for billing metering.
When an EASR is the right choice
The EASR is suitable for calibratable measurements in the medium current range on round conductors. Without a calibration obligation, the standard tube/rod-type current transformer (ASR) is the more economical choice.
Technical features
- Primary current 75 A to 600 A
- Secondary current 1 A or 5 A
- Accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5 and 0.5s
- Round conductor bore 14 or 22.5 mm
Mounting and safety
The secondary circuit of a current transformer must never be operated open during operation – before disconnecting measuring devices in the secondary circuit, it must be short-circuited.
