What is a calibratable summation current transformer (ESUSK)?
The ESUSK is the calibratable version of the summation current transformer for billing measurement. It combines up to eight primary inputs and outputs their added current as a common, calibratable measurement signal.
When an ESUSK is the right choice
The ESUSK is suitable when the sum of several conductor currents needs to be recorded in a calibratable manner for billing. Without a calibration requirement, the standard summation current transformer (KSU/SUSK) is the more economical choice.
Technical features
- Primary and secondary current each 5 A
- Accuracy class 0,2
- Up to 8 primary inputs
Mounting and safety
The secondary circuit of a current transformer must never be operated open during operation – before disconnecting measuring devices in the secondary circuit, it must be short-circuited. When ordering, the transformation ratio, VA power and class of the main transformers to be connected must be specified.
Versions at a glance
