Product information

The protection current transformer SASR 22.3 is a compact, high-precision low-voltage measuring transformer of the proven SASR series, specially developed for use in power distribution, switchgear, meter panels and industrial measurement and monitoring systems.

Technical main features:
  • Type protection current transformer – SASR 22.3
  • Primary conductor bore For round conductors up to max. Ø 22 mm (cable entry)
  • Maximum operating voltage Um ≤ 0.72 kV
  • Rated frequency 50–60 Hz
  • Thermal rated continuous current Icth = 1.0 × Ipr (continuous current 1 × primary rated current)
  • Thermal rated short-time current Ith = 60 × Ipr, 1 s
  • Insulation class E
  • Insulation test voltage 3 kV, 50 Hz, 1 min
  • Dimensions (approx.) Width 45 mm × height 65 mm × depth 30 mm
  • Weight (approx.) 0.14–0.18 kg (depending on version)
  • Mounting Foot and rail mounting possible, incl. insulating protective cap

The protection current transformer SASR 22.3 is characterized by its very compact design, high reliability and excellent linearity under overcurrent conditions – ideal for applications requiring precise detection of fault currents and protection functions (e.g. in protective devices, medium-voltage switchgear and selective monitoring systems).

We are happy to supply this model from stock at short notice or configure further variants of the SASR series for you.
