Phase sequence and motor rotation direction tester Sonel TKF-13
The user-friendly Sonel TKF-13 is a practical test instrument for determining the phase sequence as well as for checking the rotation direction of motor shafts. It is particularly suitable for testing 3-phase electrical installations in a wide voltage range between 35 and 690 V (frequency range 2 to 70 Hz). The display of the rotation direction is wired or wireless – depending on the application.
Thanks to its ergonomic shape, simple operation and robust IP42 housing, the TKF-13 impresses in everyday use. Even under adverse conditions (temperatures from –10 °C to +45 °C), the device remains reliable and efficient.
Functions
- Display of phase sequence in networks from 35…690 V AC
- Support of frequencies between 2…70 Hz
- LED indication when voltage is present
- Wired or wireless display of motor rotation direction
- Detection of the rotating field via magnetic field sensor technology
Applications
The TKF-13 is ideal for checking three-phase systems in distribution networks. The integrated technology enables safe display of the direction of rotation as well as the shaft direction – even without direct contact with the motor shaft.
Special advantages
Contactless rotation direction detection
Only the TKF-13 model has the ability to check the rotation direction of the motor shaft completely without contact – ideal for hard-to-reach or enclosed drive systems.
Versatile application
With the optional adapters AGT-16, AGT-32 and AGT-63, industrial sockets with 16, 32 or 63 A can also be tested quickly and reliably.
Fault protection through preliminary check
Before the motor is put into operation, the TKF-13 can be used to easily check whether the shaft is rotating correctly – this protects against damage to the machine or connected equipment.
Quick connection without effort
Thanks to colour-coded cables, crocodile clips and test probes, the device can be quickly and safely connected to the system – without any guesswork or incorrect operation.
