Product information
The Sonel MRP-201 is a specialized measuring instrument for testing residual current devices (RCD) of all types: instantaneous, short-time delayed and selective, as well as for types AC, A and B. It measures trip current and trip time under various conditions such as residual current, protective conductor resistance and touch voltage. Measurements can be performed individually or in automatic sequences. Parallel measurements of trip current and trip time with simultaneous tripping of the RCD are also possible.
Features
- Testing of residual current devices type AC, A and B
- Measurement of instantaneous, delayed and selective RCDs with rated residual currents from 10 to 500 mA
- Detection of trip current (IA) and trip time (tA) at currents from 0.5 IΔn to 5 IΔn
- Measurement of protective conductor resistance (RE) and touch voltage (UB) without tripping
- Automated measurements (AUTO mode) for RCD test sequences
- Single tripping for measurement of IA and tA
Additional functions
- Testing of correct PE protective conductor connection using a contact electrode
- Measurement of mains voltage (0–500 V) and mains frequency
- Memory for up to 990 measurement results
- Wireless data transmission to PC
- Backlit keypad for easy operation
Applications
The MRP-201 is ideally suited for testing residual current devices in electrical installations where RCDs of types AC, A and B are used. It supports the measurement of safety-relevant parameters such as response current and response time.
Rugged design
The device is designed for harsh environments and offers reliable protection against dust and water thanks to its IP67 housing.
Interfaces and software
Wireless data transmission to the PC enables easy evaluation. Test reports can be created with the Sonel Reports PLUS software. The free Sonel Reader software is available for storage, data transmission and printing.
