The Sonel MPI-535 was specially developed for the comprehensive testing of electrical installations in residential and industrial applications. It enables precise measurements for assessing electrical safety and meets all relevant standard requirements. In addition, it offers extended functions for structured safety testing with regard to protection against electric shock.
Automated test sequences allow all common RCD types to be checked quickly, efficiently and in compliance with standards – either manually or via predefined test sequences. In combination with the AutoISO-1000C adapter, automated insulation measurements can also be performed on 3-, 4- or 5-core cables.

Large color touch display for maximum clarity
The device is equipped with a 7-Zoll TFT touchscreen with 800x480 pixels. This allows measurement results, parameter curves and measurement menus to be displayed particularly clearly and legibly. The display remains easy to read even under difficult lighting conditions. Operation is also possible with insulating protective gloves – thanks to the included stylus.
Integrated help directly in the device
The MPI-535 features a built-in help function with graphical representations. It explains how to correctly connect the measuring instrument to the installation depending on the measurement method – a practical feature for on-site support.
Rugged housing for demanding use
Thanks to its robust design and dust and splash water protection to IP51, the measuring instrument is ideal for use under demanding conditions. The rugged housing protects against mechanical stress. A specially designed hinged cover additionally protects the display during transport and storage.
