The current measuring transducer BIM converts an alternating current flowing via terminals B1 and B2 into a linearly running impressed current or impressed voltage signal. The desired output signal can be set on the 2-pole coding switch. Current or voltage output signals are present at different terminals ( IOut or UOut ). The current measuring transducer BIM has a three-way isolation.
The supply voltage, depending on the device type 24 V DC/AC or 230 VAC, is connected to terminals A1 / A2. The application of this voltage is indicated by means of a green LED. The supply voltage must be constantly present at the terminals.
