Load monitor for monitoring electrical industrial drives for symmetrical loading of all three phases. It monitors the active power consumption of motor loads.

Application

The load monitor is suitable for monitoring electrical industrial drives with variable motor load. Design and function: The load monitor BH 9097 monitors the active power consumption of electrical loads. Due to the 1-phase measuring principle, symmetrical loading of all 3 phases is assumed, as is usual with motor loads. Using DIP switches, the device can be configured as an underload and overload monitor P1 min / P2 max. or as an overload monitor with pre-warning stage P1 max. / P2 max. The settings for P1 and P2 are calibrated as absolute values in watts and are made via two rotary switches. 2 LEDs indicate the switching state of the associated output relays. The relays can be configured for energized on trip or de-energized on trip principle. Each relay is subject to a separately adjustable pickup delay tv and a jointly adjustable start-up override ta.
